Connext is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations for a U.S.-based client. You will oversee GL, close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring US GAAP compliance and timely delivery.

The role partners with the CFO and leadership, drives process improvements using Business Central and AI tools, and mentors the team. On-site in Angeles, Philippines; on-site role with strong collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S.-based financial reporting and audits.
• Experience managing accounting operations and month-end close.
• 7+ years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience in a controller or similar role.
• 5+ years hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including GL, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, AP/AR, and schedules.
• Own weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with timely U.S. GAAP reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, flash reports, analyses, and investor-ready support.
• Manage inventory accounting, reserves, trade spend, and distributor deductions.
• Improve processes and reporting using Business Central, AI tools, and integrated systems.
• Partner with CFO and leadership on financial matters and team development.

What is the job?

The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for hands-on management of accounting operations, financial close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting process improvements for a U.S. based organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial schedules.
• Own weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate U.S. GAAP reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, flash reports, account analyses, and investor-ready financial support.
• Manage inventory accounting, product loss reserves, trade spend, distributor deductions, and other inventory-related accounting activities.
• Improve accounting processes, controls, automation, and reporting using Business Central, AI tools, and integrated financial systems.
• Partner with the CFO and leadership on financial matters, provide accounting guidance, and support team growth and training.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting U.S. based financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Experience managing accounting operations and month-end close.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience as a controller, assistant controller, or in a comparable role running a full accounting function.
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
