Job summary

COHECO BADEO CORPORATION is seeking a Senior Finance Leader in Metro Manila to oversee accounting, reporting, budgeting, and treasury for hydropower projects. You will drive strategic financial insights for Management and the Board and ensure full regulatory compliance.

The role requires 8–10 years in finance with 3–5 years in senior leadership, CPA certification, and preference for experience in renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required or equivalent professional credentials.
• 8–10 years in finance, with 3–5 years in senior leadership.
• Experience in renewable energy, hydropower, infrastructure, or utilities is highly preferred.
• MBA or related Master’s degree is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, and regulatory compliance for hydropower operations and projects.
• Lead monthly closing, reviews, and preparation of financial statements and disclosures.
• Monitor costs, CAPEX, maintenance, and project expenditures for financial efficiency and profitability.
• Manage project accounting for construction, rehabilitation, and expansion efforts.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, management dashboards, and variance analyses.
• Consolidate financial statements across related entities and oversee cash flow and debt financing.
• Ensure regulatory submissions to SEC, DOE, BIR, and lenders are timely and accurate.
• Provide financial insights to Management and the Board; support strategic decision-making.
