Job summary

COHECO BADEO CORPORATION seeks a Planning Engineering Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and project controls for hydropower construction, rehabilitation, and expansion projects. You will ensure EPC activities are on schedule, within budget, and compliant with technical and contractual requirements.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and commissioning teams, delivering weekly and monthly dashboards, and leading risk assessments and recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project planning and scheduling.
• At least 5 years managing EPC projects in hydropower or related sectors.
• Proven CPM, EVMS, risk analysis, and forecasting capabilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain integrated project schedules for hydropower projects.
• Control EPC schedule development to meet milestones from engineering through handover.
• Establish planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and project controls procedures.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and contingency planning.
• Review contractor schedules and progress reports for contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and commissioning teams.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Lead resource planning and productivity monitoring for efficient execution.
• Support budgeting, CAPEX planning, and cost forecasting with finance teams.
