Job summary

SKEWD FOOD CONCEPTS INC in Manila is seeking an Accounting Manager / Controller to oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and tax compliance.

You will lead a team, supervise daily accounting activities, and provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and senior management.

This role requires a degree in accounting/finance, CPA preferred, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with QuickBooks Online or Xero.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA is preferred for a controller-level role.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, internal controls, and analysis.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Supervise daily accounting activities: AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Lead annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure timely tax filings and statutory reports.
• Oversee invoicing, collections, and supplier payments.
• Review payroll-related entries and payroll costs.
• Supervise accounting staff and provide training.
• Oversee accounting software and reporting systems.
• Provide financial insights to CEO and senior management.
