Job summary

Curran Daly & Associates is seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Manager in Batangas to lead its accounting operations and ensure timely, compliant financial reporting. You will oversee the accounting team and manage end-to-end processes, partnering with Finance and operations to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 7-10+ years in accounting, strong knowledge of Philippine standards, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA is highly preferred.
• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in Retail, Distribution, FMCG, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing accounting teams and end-to-end accounting operations.
• Strong experience in month-end closing, financial reporting, audit, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Willing to be based in Batangas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage reconciliations, audit requirements, and coordination with external auditors.
• Establish and strengthen accounting controls, policies, and processes.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key accounting metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team.
• Partner with Finance and Operations teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
