Job summary

IOM - UN Migration in Manila is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support review and analysis of financial data in accordance with IPSAS and FMRP. The role provides guidance to COs and GSSC and ensures accurate reporting through Oracle ERP and monthly closings.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or related field, with several years of experience in accounting and ERP systems, and strong Excel skills. Travel to COs/HQ may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with four years of relevant experience, or
• High school diploma with six years of relevant experience.
• CPA or equivalent is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to COs, ROs and GSSC on accounting matters per FMRP and policies.
• Coordinate with Panama Institutional Financial Services, GSSC, and FAD to resolve issues in WAVE.
• Guide financial reporting and Oracle ERP processes; monitor FinCoorP tickets.
• Review trial balances and monitor unresolved issues until resolved.
• Assist in month-end closing and annual financial reporting; support audits.
