Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a senior Finance professional to join our Manila team. You will review and validate financial transactions in ERP, mentor junior staff, and ensure accurate reconciliations and timely management reporting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with auditors, maintaining robust controls, and driving process improvements within a multicultural, fast-paced environment. This role requires strong accounting skills and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Accountancy, Management Accounting or Banking; CPA/MBA is an advantage.
• 5 years of relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
• Experience in a BPO or Shared Service setting is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP or financial reporting software; SAP or S/4 Hana essential.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate financial transactions in ERP with high accuracy and policy compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and resolve transactional issues; assist root-cause analysis.
• Prepare and/or review reconciliations; chase for necessary adjustments.
• Ensure all accounts are properly accounted for.
• Perform analytical reviews of key accounts and taxes; ensure filings.
• Prepare/Review monthly management reports and ensure timely submission.
• Respond to auditor requests with timely, complete documentation.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure precise entries.
• Identify issues for escalation and provide immediate solutions.
• Act as main contact in absence of leads; support mentoring and handover tasks.
• Evaluate accounting processes and propose efficiency improvements with RTR Lead/Manager approval.
