Job summary

Hunt St invites applications for a Senior Accountant based in the Philippines. You will handle day-to-day finance across AP, AR, payroll, GL, and project accounting for an Australian client. This is a remote, independent-contractor engagement with AU business hours alignment.

You’ll work with a senior team to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely invoicing, and strong cashflow management, while maintaining control standards and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Accounting or finance degree completed and recognized.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Senior/mid-senior level with ownership of AP/AR processes.
• Experience with Australian payroll, STP and superannuation preferred.
• Strong GL, reconciliations, and month-end skills.
• Proficient in project accounting and margin analysis.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day accounts payable and payment processing.
• Manage debtor collection and customer invoicing processes.
• End-to-end Australian payroll processing and reporting.
• Maintain general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Track project revenues, costs, forecasts, and margins.
• Apply internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
