Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accountancy with CPA, have 3+ years of relevant experience, and can train staff on proper accounting practices, ensuring compliance with BIR and SEC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience including reviewing staff work.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Review bookkeeping entries, invoicing, billing, collections, disbursements, and other accounting transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Identify accounting errors and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.
• Train accounting personnel on proper accounting practices and reconciliations.
