Job summary

MicroSourcing in Ortigas, Pasig City is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee daily transactions and drive timely financial close. You will ensure accurate bookkeeping, prepare financial statements, and support year-end reporting.

The role requires a strong accounting background, proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, and excellent English communication. On-site, day shift, with competitive rewards and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor/Coordinator (Min 10 years' experience in accounting roles)
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, taxes laws and regulations
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Must be highly organised, work well under pressure with the ability to prioritise workload
• Proactive, mature, meticulous, dedicated team player
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (Fluent in English is a must)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
• Has exposure to ERP software, managing more complex activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transactions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and taxes
• Assists in finalizing monthly financial closing providing all the data
• Participate in reviewing, and analysing of financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
• Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
• Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
• Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company's targets
• Ensure compliance with the law and Internal Standard Operating Procedures
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
• Liaise with consultants, tax agents, clients, suppliers and banks
