Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

Be the key finance partner in a fast-growing BPO startup supporting a US-based fintech with operations in other countries. You’ll ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across global accounting processes, while mentoring junior accountants and collaborating with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile balance sheet & general ledger accounts, including inter-company transactions.


• Maintain historical financial data repositories.


• Support external/internal audits and due diligence reviews with schedules and documentation.


• Investigate and resolve audit findings, discrepancies, and compliance issues.


• Improve accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.


• Collaborate with FP&A, HR, Legal, and local accounting teams across multiple countries to ensure proper treatment and compliance.


• Lead monthly closing and assist in consolidation under IFRS and US GAAP.


• Stay current with regulations and best practices.


• Coach and mentor junior accountants, review reports, and provide feedback.


• Partner closely with the VP of Finance for compliance, updates, and weekly reporting.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.

• 2+ years handling intercompany transactions (billing, calculation, recording).


• 1–2 years in revenue transactions (digital assets, reconciliations, DeFi tools).


• Experience with NetSuite (required).


• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.


• Deep understanding of fintech and digital asset regulatory environments.


• Supervisory skills with proven ability to mentor and lead.


• Excellent English communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
