Job summary

Angkas in the Philippines seeks a senior finance leader to establish and maintain robust financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will oversee the General Ledger, accruals, and month-end close, and serve as the main point of contact for external auditors.

You will direct cash flow forecasting, manage working capital, support banking operations and investor relations, and supervise AR, AP, and payroll disbursements, ensuring timely billing and payments

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business-related course
• CPA preferred/advantaged
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and statutory compliance
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup/hyper-growth environment

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison for auditors during external audits.

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business-related course
• At least 5-8 years experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge in financial reporting standards and statutory compliance
• Experience working with NetSuite is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• High integrity and commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Strong communications skills for working with stakeholders across the organization
• Ability to manage deadlines and effectively able to prioritize & execute tasks in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Familiarity working in a tech startups or in hyper growth and scaling environments
• CPA will be preferred/advantaged
