Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• Proven experience as an accountant with strong accounting principles.
• Experience with end-to-end accounting processes.
• Experience with AU client/companies.
• Prior experience in bank or non-bank lending.
• Proficiency in MYOB Advanced and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of month-end processes including income recognition, manual journals, reconciliations, and cash flows.
• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, cash flows, GL accounts, and Trust Accounts.
• Record intercompany transactions and perform monthly reconciliation.
• Process investor repayments.
• Analyse financial performance and identify cost control and revenue enhancement opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations to provide management accounting support to divisions.
• Support investments accounting and assess financial implications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls.
