Job summary

Motul Philippines Corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including end-to-end general accounting, AP/AR processing, and month-end close. The role ensures accurate financial records and coordination with external tax providers and auditors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting with 3–5 years of relevant experience in FMCG or consumer goods, and demonstrates strong analytical, ERP, and communication skills to manage vendor data,

Qualifications

• End-to-end accounting experience including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable processing, vendor data upkeep, and three-way matching.
• Experience in accounts receivable, aging, and collections support.
• Exposure to tax compliance activities and coordination with external tax providers.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and other adjustments.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain schedules.
• Review general ledger transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Process supplier invoices and prepare payments per company policies.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices with POs and goods receipts.
• Create and maintain vendor master data in the ERP system.
• Monitor customer accounts and reconcile balances.
• Prepare and distribute AR aging reports for collections.
