Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the General Ledger team in Manila.

You will oversee Junior Accountants, assist monthly financial reporting, and coordinate with local finance teams to resolve discrepancies in a Shared Services environment. The role starts on-site for six months during training, then transitions to a hybrid setup. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting or audit experience, CPA preferred, and strong Excel skills to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of audit or financial accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics D365.
• Strong Excel and computer skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Experience in a Shared Services or multinational environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review Junior Accountants' work.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, inventory, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
• Liaise with BU Finance teams and CFO regarding account issues.
• Recommend improvements in accounting procedures and systems.
• Maintain fixed asset records and assist with regular reporting.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor outstanding items.
• Support finance projects and other tasks as assigned.
