Job summary

GR8 Global Philippines is seeking a Senior Accountant/Client Accounting and Advisory Senior Associate to lead end-to-end accounting and advisory services for US-focused clients. Based in Makati, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and deliver high-quality outputs while on-site in the first year.

You’ll mentor junior staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay current with accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in US public accounting or similar.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and practices with financial statement prep and analysis.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel.
• Nice to have: Public Sector or Government Accounting Experience
• Onsite work in Makati required for the 1st year; Flexibility may be provided during emergencies.
• Night shift required

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations from planning to delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and mentor them.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes in client engagements.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure compliance in engagements.
