Job summary

TBEA Subic Inc. is seeking a qualified Finance/Accounting professional to oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory updates for our operations in the Philippines.

The role requires CPA certification, a degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least five years of experience in large enterprises, with preference for renewable energy exposure. You will work independently, use Excel and local accounting software, and may travel to project sites as needed to ensure accurate financial

Qualifications

• CPA certification and a degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting, preferably within large enterprises.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and financial software.
• Fluent in English and Filipino.
• Proficiency in Excel and local accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and travel occasionally to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Review and track the company’s financial accounts and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely system entry. Ensure financial statements are obtained promptly, reflecting the correct financial position.
• Keep updated on tax incentive policies and regulatory reforms applicable to the company. Monitor tax declaration data for risk prevention, conduct internal tax audits, and implement improvements. Assist in preparing data and documentation for BIR inspections when required.
• Identify financial pain points and challenges faced by the company. Research relevant laws and regulations to compile data-driven insights, lead corrective actions, and ensure compliance. Regularly develop training materials on weak areas of the company’s financial operations and conduct internal financial training sessions.
• Continuously track and provide solutions to complex financial challenges that arise within the company.
• Maintain regular contact with clients through visits and meetings, addressing their financial concerns and strengthening long-term business relationships.
