The Accounting Manager will lead and oversee the company's accounting and financial management functions for our Solar Renewable Energy and Construction operations in the Philippines. The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, hands‑on experience with project‑based businesses, and a solid understanding of construction/project costing, Philippine tax regulations, and financial controls. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, effective project cost monitoring, tax and statutory compliance, cash‑flow management, and the integrity of the company's accounting records. This role will work closely with Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, Operations, and senior management to support sound financial and business decisions.
Manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and government mandatory computation and coordination, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, schedules, and financial analyses.
Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with applicable Philippine Accounting Standards (PFRS).
Establish and maintain appropriate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Oversee accounting for solar EPC, renewable energy, and construction projects, including project costing and profitability analysis.
Monitor project budgets, actual costs, commitments, and cost‑to‑complete estimates.
Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG, and other applicable Philippine regulatory requirements.
Prepare and monitor short‑term and project‑based cash‑flow forecasts.
Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team.
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA license in the Philippines is strongly preferred but not required.
At least 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Proven experience in construction, engineering, solar renewable energy, or other project‑based industries.
Strong knowledge of Philippine Accounting Standards (PFRS) and Philippine taxation.
Hands‑on experience with project costing, budgeting, job costing, cost‑to‑complete analysis, and project profitability reporting.
Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting/ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and accountability.
Ability to work effectively with technical, engineering, construction, procurement, and management teams.
