Job summary

MicroSourcing, located in Eastwood, Quezon City, is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead statutory reporting and external audits for a portfolio of international subsidiaries across EMEA, APAC and LATAM. The role sits in a hybrid setup with mid-shift hours.

You will prepare annual statutory financial statements, management accounts and audit schedules for about 20 entities, ensuring balance sheet accuracy and intercompany alignment.

Your Role

• Lead statutory reporting and external audits for a portfolio of international subsidiaries across EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
• Prepare annual statutory financial statements, management accounts, audit schedules and supporting analysis for approximately 20 international legal entities.
• Confirm the validity, completeness and accuracy of account balances through journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and analytical review, including accruals and intercompany transactions.
• Partner with outsourced accounting providers to maintain local books and support compliance with applicable local GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Global Tax team on corporate income tax returns, tax provisions and related compliance activities.
• Research accounting matters and prepare clear technical accounting memoranda in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Support the implementation of reporting and close-management tools, while identifying opportunities to standardize, automate and strengthen global processes.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, including appropriate documentation and document retention.
• Complete or review local compliance documentation, including government surveys and other required statutory submissions.
• Contribute to special projects and other priorities across the Global Controllership organization.
