Job summary

GALDERMA MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in the Philippines is seeking a Certified Public Accountant to manage a full set of accounts and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processing.

You will oversee cashflow, payroll reporting, tax provisions, and internal controls, while collaborating with auditors, banks, and tax authorities to maintain compliance. FMCG experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
• FMCG background is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a full set of accounts and ensure accuracy of AP/AR/GL.
• Manage cashflow and monitor trade spends and other claims.
• Prepare tax provisions and local income tax returns, and liaise with authorities.

Job description

This role is responsible for keeping a full set of accounts and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processing.

Key responsibilities

Manage cashflow and monitor trade spends and other claims

Report financial results using corporate reporting tools and systems

Conduct monthly analysis of financial results in financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet)

Ensure accuracy of payroll reporting

Oversee the integrity of accounting processes and maintain and improve internal controls relating to collection and payments

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements

Keep up to date with accounting standard changes

Prepare tax provisions schedules, local income tax returns, and other business-related filings, payments, and reports

Manage tax return submission and tax planning throughout the fiscal year

Liaise with tax agent, bank, auditors, legal counsel, government authorities, and distributors

Ensure adequate and effective internal control systems are in place and implemented to safeguard company assets and accuracy of accounting records

Ensure ongoing improvement of accounting processes and procedures

Ensure segregation of duties are in place
