Job summary

Sunnies Inc. in Manila area is seeking a Systems and Security Specialist to protect company systems, data, and communications. You will conduct vulnerability assessments, manage endpoints, and oversee CCTV infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enforce security policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and at least 2 years of experience in security and system administration, with a focus on incident response and Office 365 security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in system administration and cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in administering security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with ticketing systems and incident response procedures.
• Familiarity with Office 365 security and compliance settings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and monitor servers, operating systems, networks, and endpoint devices to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, VPNs, and other connectivity solutions.
• Manage user accounts, system access, backups, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Oversee Office 365 administration, security settings, and compliance to protect company data and communications.
• Maintain CCTV infrastructure and other technology systems supporting facility operations and security.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and identify potential security risks across systems and infrastructure.
• Implement and administer endpoint protection, firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.
• Monitor networks, systems, and security events to detect, investigate, and respond to potential threats or unauthorized activities.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection requirements, and internal security controls.
• Manage security incidents through established response and ticketing processes, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen security awareness and ensure adherence to organizational security policies.
• Recommend and implement improvements to strengthen the organization's overall security posture and system reliability.
