About the role
We are currently seeking a qualified and competent Security Detachment Commander to oversee and manage the overall security operations and administrative requirements of the assigned security detachment. The Security Detachment Commander shall serve as a key supervisory link between the deployed security personnel, company management, and the client, ensuring that security operations are properly managed, personnel are effectively supervised, administrative requirements are consistently complied with, and the company's security service standards are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Actively supervise security personnel, monitor post assignments and deployment, ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, and conduct regular inspections
- Conduct investigations and prepare accurate, comprehensive, and well-structured Investigation Reports, including gathering and evaluating information, conducting interviews, establishing facts, and documenting incidents objectively
- Manage and monitor personnel records, attendance and deployment requirements, incident documentation, daily reports, schedules, manpower concerns, and disciplinary matters
- Ensure all required reports and records are complete, accurate, timely, and properly maintained
- Manage day-to-day security activities, identify potential security risks, respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies, and implement corrective measures
- Coordinate effectively with clients and company management and address operational concerns
- Provide appropriate recommendations to management and clients concerning operational improvements, security risks, and personnel-related concerns
- Ensure the continuous and effective delivery of security services
About you
- Possess appropriate qualifications and credentials for the position, preferably with a valid Certified Security Professional (CSP) certification
- Relevant experience in security supervision and management
- Strong understanding of security procedures, personnel management, incident management, and operational controls
- Highly proficient in investigation and report preparation
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond promptly to operational requirements
