Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role onboard foreign vessels.
• Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Knowledge of Emergency Procedures (Fire, Abandon ship, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Operate catering equipment.

Skills

Experience as Second Cook/Messman on foreign going ships

Working knowledge of spoken English

Experience with International cuisine, specifically European foods

Handling of provisions, purchasing, accounting

Education

Certificates compliant with STCW 2010
