Recruitment Criteria

• Minimum of 12 months experience as Second Cook/Messman on foreign-going ships of relevant size/type
• Working knowledge of spoken English
• Experienced with international cuisine, specifically European foods
• Handling of provisions, purchasing, accounting, and administration
• Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Knowledge of emergency procedures (fire, abandon ship, man overboard, oil spill)
• Awareness of safety meetings, reporting near miss, incidents, accidents
• Certificates compliant to STCW 2010 Manila amendments requirements
