Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Waiter/Server/Service Crew or similar restaurant role
• Preferably from a reputable casual dining, premium casual dining, hotel, or high-volume restaurant
• Strong experience in table service and order taking
• Experience using restaurant POS systems
• Good menu and product knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good customer service and problem-solving skills
• Attentive, organized, and detail-oriented
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Physically capable of standing and moving for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests throughout their dining experience
• Provide attentive and professional table service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Encode and process orders using the POS system
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, promotions, and available products
• Explain menu items and provide recommendations when needed
• Communicate guest requests, food modifications, and special instructions accurately
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, cashier, and fellow service staff
• Monitor orders and follow up on delays when necessary
• Check on guests regularly and respond promptly to requests
