Noodle Temple in Manila is seeking an experienced Line Cook to consistently prepare quality dishes while upholding our recipe standards, food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork in a fast-paced casual dining setting.

You will execute mise en place, follow standardized recipes, coordinate with other stations, and help ensure timely, consistent portions and presentation across menu items.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Line Cook, Cook, or similar kitchen position.
• Strong practical knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Experience working with standardized recipes.
• Knowledge of proper portioning and food presentation.
• Familiar with commercial kitchen tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place before service
• Wash, cut, portion, season, marinate, and prepare ingredients as required
• Cook and prepare menu items according to approved recipes and restaurant standards
• Follow proper cooking techniques, preparation methods, cooking temperatures, and timing
• Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, quality, and presentation
• Follow standardized recipes and avoid unauthorized substitutions or changes
• Assist with preparation of sauces, stocks, garnishes, and other kitchen requirements
• Maintain adequate mise en place throughout restaurant operations
• Coordinate with other kitchen stations to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
• Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and proper food-handling procedures
