Job summary

Tribute Technology is seeking a Data Analyst to work with the global Data Team, ensuring data integrity and delivering internal and external reports for the SaaS business. You’ll collaborate with operations, sales, and finance to track data and support priority targets.

You will extract and analyze data from SQL databases and analytics tools, create visualizations, and support decision-making with actionable insights. A strong emphasis on communication and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or business management.
• 3+ years of experience as a data or business analyst.
• Proficiency in data visualization using Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills; AWS Athena experience a plus.
• Excellent Excel skills and CRM/ERP familiarity with Salesforce and NetSuite.

Job description

ABOUT YOU: The Data Analyst will work closely with other members of the global Data Team to ensure data integrity and consistency across the platform. A primary focus of the role will be providing analysis and both internal and external reporting to operational and executive stakeholders for our business-to-business software as a service division. This requires thought leadership and collaboration with the operations, sales, and finance teams to track data and assist with priorities. Typical activities will include maintenance and reconciliation of customer databases, sales data and assisting with priority targets (new opportunities and cross selling on the platform), tracking key performance indicators for the SaaS division, helping to integrate and harmonize data across systems, etc.

What You’ll Do

• Support leadership in monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators specific to SaaS operations
• Assist in streamlining internal reporting to help inform business decisions and show real-time business performance
• Harmonize and integrate data across various data systems to ensure efficient, timely and accurate reporting
• Extract, analyze, create visualizations and report findings from a wide range of data sources, including SQL databases, product analysis tools, and other sources of large-scale data
• Maintain, build, and manipulate models for scenario planning and ROI analyses
• Assisting with strategic planning as required
• Model and incorporate new data elements and data sources into existing Data Architecture

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree: preferably in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or business management. Those with BS/ BA in accounting or finance and an analytical focus would also be encouraged to apply
• Experienced data or business analyst with at least 3 years of professional experience who is passionate about helping leaders and the organization better understand data and use it to make strategic business decisions
• Understands data visualization and has the ability to create graphs that communicate key information quickly, including use of data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI (Experience with PowerBI Service a plus!)
• Demonstrated proficiency understanding and writing SQL, specific experience with AWS Athena is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience/familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
• Experience/familiarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Practical experience or demonstrated aptitude generating business related analytical reports
• Proven analytical abilities, time management and prioritization skills, demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working independently within the structures of a team-based environment
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Outstanding business acumen and action-oriented team member who gets things done
