Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a Data/Report Analyst to collect, analyze, interpret, and present business data to support operational performance and strategic decisions. You will develop dashboards, generate reports, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve productivity and service delivery.

You will work closely with operations, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting efficiency, translating complex data into clear business insights for stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in reporting, business analytics, data analysis, or BI.
• Experience supporting operations in BPO/shared services or similar environments is preferred.
• Experience creating dashboards and automated reports.

Job description

The Data/Report Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting business data to support operational performance and strategic decision-making. The role develops dashboards, generates recurring and ad hoc reports, identifies trends, and provides actionable insights to improve productivity, service delivery, and business outcomes. The analyst works closely with operations, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Develop, maintain, and automate operational, financial, and performance reports.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations based on data insights.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across multiple reporting sources.

Dashboard Development

• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools.
• Present meaningful visualizations that support business decision-making.
• Continuously improve dashboard functionality and user experience.
• Ensure dashboards reflect current operational metrics and client requirements.

Performance Analysis

• Track operational metrics including productivity, quality, attendance, service levels, and financial performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis on performance variances.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through data-driven recommendations.
• Support leadership with forecasting and trend analysis.

Data Management

• Extract, clean, transform, and consolidate data from multiple systems.
• Maintain reporting databases and ensure data integrity.
• Document reporting processes and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Perform regular audits to ensure reporting accuracy.

Stakeholder Support

• Partner with Operations, Workforce Management, Finance, HR, and Business Leaders to address reporting needs.
• Translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Prepare executive presentations and management reports.
• Respond to ad hoc reporting requests within agreed timelines.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes.
• Improve reporting efficiency through process optimization and new technologies.
• Recommend enhancements to existing reports and reporting methodologies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through analytical insights.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in reporting, business analytics, data analysis, or business intelligence.
• Experience supporting operations in a BPO, shared services, healthcare, banking, or customer service environment is preferred.
• Experience working with large datasets and performance reporting.
• Experience creating dashboards and automated reports.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Lookup Functions).
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools.
• Familiarity with Power Automate or reporting automation tools is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Python, R, or VBA is an advantage.
• Experience working with databases and data warehouses.
