Job summary
FIS in Manila is hiring a Network Engineer I to support SD-WAN and enterprise networks in a hybrid role (three days in-office, two days remote). You will troubleshoot connectivity, coordinate with carriers, monitor performance, and resolve customer incidents as part of the BOTS Network WAN Delivery Team.

Qualifications
- Experience supporting and operating SD-WAN environments (preferably VeloCloud by Arista).
- Knowledge of WAN technologies: BGP, dynamic routing, static routing, circuit troubleshooting.
- Strong Layer 2/3 networking understanding: VLANs and switching.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing platforms (e.g., Zabbix, ServiceNow).
- Ability to troubleshoot Layer 1/2 connectivity and coordinate with customers/carriers/ISPs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills in a managed network services context.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots SD-WAN circuit-related and layer 1-2 issues with carriers and vendors.
- Performs basic configuration in SD-WAN and legacy networks.
- Monitors, responds, and resolves network incidents and tickets.
- Documents status updates and resolutions in ServiceNow.
- Provides customer service and responds to requests in a timely, quality-focused manner.
- Prepares activity reports and maintains network services documentation.
- Completes network change requests per SLAs.
