Job summary

Insight is seeking a Network Engineer to join its Infrastructure Managed Services Team in Pasig, Philippines. The role centers on managing WAN/LAN for multiple clients, with emphasis on Palo Alto and other security/networking technologies.

You will troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize network performance while documenting systems and following project methodologies. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, opportunities for upskilling, and a pathway to promotions within a Fortune 500

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer/Information Science, technical college, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years progressive experience in networking.
• Certifications desired.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with monitoring and management of SD-WAN solutions.
• Demonstrated associate to professional level technology and support experience for route/switch, security, wireless, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot WAN and LAN connections for multiple clients.
• Use remote monitoring tools and protocol analyzers to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network problems, including WAPs and controllers.
• Perform advanced, complex network analysis, identify problems, and determine solutions.
• Recommend enhancements to the network that will improve the quality, performance, security, and reliability of the network.
• Creates and maintains documentation of networks and network systems.
• Follows project methodologies to complete assigned tasks.
