Job summary

FIS is seeking a Network Engineer I to join the BOTS Network WAN Delivery Team in a hybrid role (three days in-office, two days remote). You will support SD-WAN and enterprise networks, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and coordinate with carriers while developing expertise in managed services on a global team.

The role emphasizes handling incidents, following documented processes, and providing timely customer service in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SD-WAN environments, preferably VeloCloud by Arista.
• Knowledge of WAN technologies including BGP and routing.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 networking and VLANs.
• Familiarity with monitoring/ticketing tools like Zabbix or ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots SD-WAN deployment issues with carriers and vendors.
• Performs basic configuration in SD-WAN and legacy networks.
• Monitors and resolves network incidents and tickets.
• Documents status updates using ServiceNow.
