Job summary

Qualifications

• Maintain accuracy, completeness, and integrity of accounting records and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, government regulations, and school policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional integrity in interactions with management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving financial goals through sound accounting practices and accurate reporting.
• Ensure observance of accounting policies and internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Review transactions by AP/Purchasing and cashiers for accuracy and compliance.
• Review daily collection reports and reconcile receipts, POS, online payments, and deposits.
• Investigate and report discrepancies in collection and accounting records.
• Review student charges, balances, and collections after enrollment and perform reconciliation of student accounts.
• Prepare and record journal entries, adjusting entries, and other accounting transactions.
• Maintain the General Ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and accounting schedules.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards.
