Job summary

ABS Global, Ltd. is recruiting a Customer Solutions Engineer – Planning and Costing Support in Subic, Philippines. The role focuses on designing satellite-related managed services, estimating costs, and supporting proposals and pricing while coordinating with sales and engineering teams.

The candidate will handle site readiness, link testing, and commissioning, and develop robust cost models to ensure project profitability across CAPEX/OPEX elements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in teleports, satellite ground systems, or RF/network engineering.
• Meaningful experience in engineering costing, proposals, or technical sales documentation is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan satellite-related managed services and infrastructure projects (uplink/downlink, antenna installations, RF chain upgrades).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technical deliverables with customer expectations and deadlines.
• Prepare technical proposals and MoP documents.
• Support site readiness, link testing, and final commissioning of satellite services.
• Prepare cost models and engineering estimates for teleport and managed services projects (CAPEX/OPEX).
• Collaborate with commercial and pre-sales teams on service pricing and profitability.
• Track actual vs. budgeted costs across milestones and suggest optimizations.
