Job summary

Sortr is seeking an SAP Production Planning (PP) Master Data & Configuration Specialist for an Australian-based project. The role focuses on establishing, reviewing and optimising SAP PP master data including BOMs and routings, and reviewing system configuration to ensure accurate support for manufacturing, MRP, inventory and planning.

Collaborate with the Australian-based Production Planner, troubleshoot issues, and implement practical data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' practical experience working with SAP Production Planning (PP) in a manufacturing environment (Food manufacturing, bakery or FMCG experience).
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP master data, particularly BOMs and routings.
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory and production planning processes.
• Experience reviewing or supporting SAP PP configuration.
• Experience troubleshooting master data, configuration and production planning issues.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Make or support configuration changes where required.
• Test and validate system and master data changes.
• Analyse production planning processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Work closely with the Australian Production Planner to resolve planning, inventory and system issues.
• Provide recommendations and practical solutions where system processes or master data do not align with business requirements.

Job Title: SAP PP Master Data & Configuration Specialist

Contract: 3 months approx
Location: Onsite (Pampanga) / negotiable
Hours: TBD with successful candidate, expectation around 7AM - 4PM Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Master Data & Configuration Specialist to support an Australian-based food manufacturer on a project basis for approximately three months.

The primary focus of this role is to establish, review and optimise production planning master data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings and related SAP PP data. The role will also review system configuration and make or support configuration adjustments where required to ensure the system, master data and production planning processes operate correctly.

You will work closely with the Australian-based Production Planner and other stakeholders to ensure SAP accurately supports manufacturing, MRP, inventory and production planning requirements

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Desirable:

• Experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1).
• Experience with ProcessForce or similar manufacturing systems.
• Experience with SAP PP implementation, optimisation or master data migration
• Previous experience working remotely with Australia

You are analytical, proactive and comfortable working independently. You can investigate a problem, understand whether the issue relates to master data, configuration or process, and recommend an appropriate solution rather than simply escalating the issue.

You will need strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with an Australian-based team.
