Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to support and enhance production planning and manufacturing processes within SAP. The role involves working closely with business users, supply chain teams, and IT teams to implement, configure, and optimize SAP PP solutions in discrete manufacturing, process industries, or repetitive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize SAP PP modules, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand Management, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning.
• Integrate SAP PP with SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP QM (Quality Management).
• Work with business users to analyze and improve manufacturing and production planning processes. Design solutions to reduce production downtime, optimize resource utilization, and improve material planning.
• Ensure accurate planning data in MRP and capacity planning.
• Train business users on SAP PP transactions, planning strategies, and execution processes.
• Develop functional specifications, training materials, and process documentation. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology or related fields.
• At least two (2) years of full lifecycle implementations as an SAP PP functional consultant. At least 2 years of experience in SAP PP implementation and support.
• Experience/Familiarity with S/4HANA and WRICEF.
• Extensive knowledge/experience of implementing and configuring SAP Modules in complex business environments.
• Analytical with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and assignments.
• Able to initiate and pursue revisions/improvements in processes or methods according to established benchmarks.
• Able to perform more complex methods/procedures/processes to a high level of competence with very minimal supervision.
