Job summary

AUMOVIO Philippines, Inc. is seeking a SAP PP consultant with strong ABAP development skills to support and enhance our SAP landscape, including SAP R/3, SAP S/4, and CIF interfaces.

You will analyze requirements, perform customization, and deliver ABAP solutions for PP/PE processes. The role combines functional process understanding with hands-on technical delivery across project milestones and migrations, with travel about 10%.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations in Production Planning or related logistics modules.
• Several years of hands-on ABAP development, including OO ABAP, enhancements, reports, and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and perform system analysis and configuration for Production Planning and Production Execution.
• Coordinate CIF integrations between SAP ECC (R/3) and SAP APO (PP/DS) including monitoring and error resolution.
• Develop ABAP solutions (enhancements, reports, user exits/BAdIs, forms) for PP/PE processes.
• Define and implement SAP PP/PE configuration in ECC/R/3 and support integration with APO PP/DS.
• Provide technical support for migration activities from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA and assist in PP/DS transition.

The Production Planning and Production Execution team within the Automotive IT Competence Center – Business Applications (IT BA) is responsible for end‑to‑end support and continuous improvement of processes and solutions in the areas of master data maintenance, short‑term production planning, and manufacturing execution across our plants and related supply chain interfaces.

We are looking for a SAP PP consultant with strong technical expertise in ABAP development to support and enhance our SAP landscape based on SAP R/3, SAP S/4 and SAP APO PP/DS and CIF interface. Key responsibilities include the following:

• Analyze business requirements, conduct system/process analysis and execute relevant configuration (customizing) for Production Planning and Production Execution.
• Analyze, support, and enhance CIF integrations between SAP ECC (R/3) and SAP APO (PP/DS), including queue/transfer monitoring, error resolution, performance tuning, and change implementation for master and transactional data replication.
• Coordinate requirements and define solution concepts together with the global competence center, local management, and key users.
• Produce and maintain functional documentation, process descriptions, and specifications for new solutions and changes.
• Design and develop ABAP solutions in the context of PP/PE processes (e.g., enhancements, reports, user exits/BAdIs, forms, batch jobs).
• Define and implement relevant SAP PP/PE configuration (customizing) in ECC/R/3, and support related integration topics with APO PP/DS (e.g., planning integration, master data consistency, planning execution).
• Perform in‑depth analysis and debugging of the existing ABAP programs, interfaces, and Web Dynpro ABAP applications.
• Design and implement technical concepts for integrations and data flows (e.g., IDoc, BAPI/RFC, file‑based interfaces, background processing), in alignment with architectural guidelines.
• Provide technical support and expertise for ongoing and future migration activities from SAP ECC (R/3) to SAP S/4HANA, including impact analysis, code adaptation, and system readiness from an ABAP and PP/PE perspective.
• As part of the strategic roadmap, consult on and develop solutions for the integration and transition of PP/DS functionalities into SAP S/4HANA, with the objective of replacing SAP APO and consolidating planning processes within the S/4 environment.
• Participate in and execute required activities across project milestones, including fit‑gap / blueprint, design, realization, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Contribute to workshops, trainings, and cross‑functional alignment meetings (global/regional/project calls).
• Provide second‑level support for SAP systems, including investigation, monitoring, and resolution of incidents and change requests.
• Manage changes and (emergency) transport as required for high‑priority operational issues, following internal change governance.
• Provide guidance and share knowledge within the team related to your area of specialization.
• Manage own workload proactively to meet assigned deadlines and service commitments.

The hired individual will be responsible for delivering SAP Production Planning and Production Execution solutions. The role combines functional process understanding with hands‑on technical delivery, including analysis, debugging, enhancements, interfaces, and support across project and operational phases.

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience with full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations in Production Planning or other logistics modules including involvement across design, build, test, and deployment phases.
• Several years of hands‑on experience in ABAP development, including:
  • Object‑Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)
  • Enhancements, reports, interfaces, and debugging in complex SAP environments
  • Web Dynpro ABAP is a plus
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and business process knowledge in Production Planning and/or Production Execution; repetitive manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of integration with other SAP logistics modules (e.g., MM, SD, QM), including cross‑functional process flows.
• Familiarity with SAP APO PP/DS integration (CIF) and/or S/4HANA migration topics is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in structured manner.
• Fast learner with experience working in international and cross‑cultural environments; confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of initiative, reliability, and assertiveness in driving topics to completion.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%).
