Job summary

A leading HR solutions firm is looking for a skilled manager to oversee a large offshore SAP HCM and ABAP delivery team in Manila. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in IT project management and managing sizable teams, coupled with excellent client management and communication skills. The candidate will ensure service commitments are met and work collaboratively in a multi-cultural setting. Strong experience in SAP HCM is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in IT project management and/or application maintenance in SAP.
• Experience in managing large teams for at least 5 years.
• Experience in a multi-national, multi-disciplinary, virtual team environment.

Job description

Manages a large SAP HCM and ABAP offshore delivery team performing application development and maintenance activities on client systems

• Ensure the offshore delivery team meets outsourced service commitments to the client
• Maintain client satisfaction
• Resolve issues that affect demand scope, quality, schedule, budget, and resources
• Manage demand, resources, user relationship, performance, and changes to the team
• Drive future growth of the delivery team
• Manage the operational and financial performance of the project
• Manage day-to-day relationships with teaming partners and suppliers
• Facilitate the identification of process improvements

TO QUALIFY:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields
• 5 years experience in IT project management and/or application maintenance in SAP
• Strong people management skills; ideally at least 5 years experience in managing large teams
• Experience in a multi-national, multi-disciplinary, virtual team environment
• Experience in client and/or service management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment
