Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in SAP/ERP functional consulting, implementation, support, or application management.
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes within an SAP or ERP environment.
• Proven experience implementing ERP/SAP projects.
• Experience with requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional solution design, testing and UAT, implementation and go-live support.

• Serve as a key functional resource for Finance and Controlling within SAP/ERP environments.
• Gather and translate requirements into functional ERP solution specs.

• Assist in process enhancements and optimization initiatives.
• Engage in troubleshooting and coordination with technical teams and partners.
• Document business processes, requirements, test cases, and activities.

About the role

We're looking for an SAP ERP FICO Specialist to play a key functional role in supporting the organization's Finance and ERP transformation initiatives. The role is best suited for a hands-on SAP Finance/FICO functional professional with implementation experience and a strong understanding of Finance and Controlling processes within an ERP environment. While the organization currently operates on SAP Business One, this role is focused on the organization's future direction toward a more centralized SAP S/4HANA environment. You will work closely with Finance stakeholders, IT leadership, operational teams, and third-party implementation partners to help translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions. This is initially a hands-on individual contributor role, requiring someone who is comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and adapting to an evolving project environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as a key functional resource for Finance and Controlling processes within the SAP/ERP environment.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional ERP solution requirements.
• Participate in business process analysis, solution design, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation activities.
• Work closely with third-party SAP implementation partners and vendors throughout project delivery.
• Support the organization's ERP transformation and future transition toward an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Coordinate Finance-related requirements and processes with other functional areas, including Supply Chain, Warehousing, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance.
• Support system enhancements, process improvements, and continuous optimization initiatives.
• Participate in functional troubleshooting and issue resolution while coordinating with technical teams and external partners when required.
• Assist in documenting business processes, functional requirements, test cases, and implementation activities.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in SAP/ERP functional consulting, implementation, support, or application management.
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes within an SAP or ERP environment.
• Proven experience participating in ERP/SAP implementation projects.
• Experience with functional activities such as requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional solution design, configuration support, testing and UAT, implementation and go-live support.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders and third-party implementation partners.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and their interaction with operational functions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving and evolving project environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing and able to work 100% on-site in Makati City.
