Job summary

Accenture is seeking a SAP QA Tester to perform requirements analysis, design and execute test plans, and prepare data for SAP ECC/S/4 environments. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, building test scripts, and tracking defects. Opportunities to upskill in automation tools are available.

Open for Cebu and Manila offices in the Philippines. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in functional test planning, a solid CS background, and familiarity with Selenium, UFT, Tosca, and defect tools

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience in functional test planning and creating test plans.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, TestComplete, Tosca or Worksoft Certify.
• Knowledge of Java or Python and strong SDLC understanding.
• Experience in designing and executing test cases and scripts; defect tracking in ALM/JIRA/qTest/Bugzilla.
• SAP ECC/S/4 familiarity is an advantage; minimum 2 years of testing planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis to ensure valid, testable requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify requirements for test planning.
• Create test plans and test scripts against SAP user requirements defined.
• Prepare test data relevant to the scripts.
• Execute test scripts in the defined SAP test environment.
• Possibly upskill to use automation tooling to create/execute automated tests.
• Carefully track defects and open issues; manage test scripts.
• Ensure SAP ECC/S/4 related testing is leveraged where possible.

• Perform requirements analysis to ensure functional and/or non-functional requirements are valid and can be tested
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to clarify any requirements prior test planning.
• Create test plan (test scenarios, test scripts) against the SAP user requirements defined.
• Prepare test data relevant to the test scripts created for the SAP user requirements.
• Execute test scripts in the defined SAP test environment.
• *as applicable** will be upskilled to use automate testing tools to enable candidate with the creation and execution of automated test scripts.
• Responsibly track and manage test scripts, defects logged, or any open issues assigned to.
• Required Skill: Expertise in functional test planning.
• Additional Must To Have Skills: Experience in test automation tools such as Selenium, HP UFT, TestComplete, Tricentis TOSCA, or Worksoft Certify.
• Additional Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as, ALM, JIRA, qTest, or Bugzilla.
• Experience in SAP ECC / S/4 is an advantage.
• The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in functional test planning.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
• This position is open for Cebu and Manila office.
• Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required.
