Job summary

RecruitNest Consulting seeks an experienced SAP Basis Manager to lead SAP Basis workstreams across implementation, modernization, and transformation projects. You will provide technical and delivery leadership across SAP environments, with a focus on installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and support of SAP technologies.

You will work closely with clients and technical teams to optimize SAP operations while mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on SAP Basis.
• Experience installing, configuring, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting SAP.
• Hands-on SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver expertise.
• Experience leading SAP implementation, modernization, migration, or transformation projects.
• Experience leading SAP Basis workstreams or technical teams.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
• SAP certifications related to SAP Technology are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

About the Job:

We are looking for an SAP Basis Manager to join our client's Business Application Consulting team and lead SAP Basis workstreams across implementation, modernization, and transformation projects. In this role, you will provide technical and delivery leadership across SAP environments, with a focus on installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and support of SAP technologies. You will work closely with clients and technical teams to optimize SAP operations, resolve complex issues, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives while mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP Basis workstreams and manage client expectations throughout project delivery.
• Guide teams in the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and support of SAP products and technologies.
• Manage and maintain SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver environments to support business operations and transformation initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategic technology plans to improve SAP integration, performance, and utilization.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, clients, and leadership to ensure quality, timely delivery, and effective solutions.
• Analyze client requirements and recommend SAP Basis solutions aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and support for SAP implementation, modernization, migration, and transformation projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP Basis issues, escalating critical concerns when necessary.
• Mentor and coach team members to strengthen their technical capabilities and support professional growth.
• Address conflicts and issues with clients, stakeholders, and team members while maintaining effective working relationships.
• Ensure compliance with professional and technical standards, project requirements, and organizational policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency within SAP technology environments.
• Analyze system interactions and dependencies to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
• Promote continuous improvement, technology adoption, and innovation across SAP delivery teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant SAP experience, with strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis.
• Strong experience in SAP installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver.
• Experience supporting or leading SAP implementation, modernization, migration, or transformation projects.
• Experience leading SAP Basis workstreams or technical teams.
• Strong understanding of SAP system architecture, integration, and technical operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring and coaching technical team members.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and make sound technical and delivery decisions.
• SAP certifications related to SAP Technology and platform solutions are an advantage, such as SAP S/4HANA System Administration, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite, SAP Security, or related technical certifications.
• Strong interest in technology innovation, process automation, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
