Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to manage installations, configurations, upgrades, patching, and backups across SAP environments including ECC and S/4HANA.

The role requires 5+ years of SAP Basis experience, strong DB/OS knowledge (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server; Windows, Linux), and ability to lead migrations and system transformations. Collaboration with global teams and adherence to security standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, SAP Rise and other SAP modules.
• Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Experience in SAP system upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications in SAP Basis or related areas are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP Basis administration tasks, including system installations, configurations, upgrades, patching, and backups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP system issues, providing L2/L3 support as required.
• Collaborate with the SAP Functional teams to implement and support SAP projects and enhancements.
• Ensure system security by managing user access and roles, in alignment with IT security policies.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.
• Lead SAP system refreshes, landscape transformations, and migrations as needed.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP system architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members and act as a point of escalation for critical issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to recommend improvements and innovations.
• Plan and execute S/4HANA system conversion autonomously.
