Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to help ensure stability and performance of SAP environments. With 5–7 years in SAP landscape administration, you will handle ECC/S4HANA, SLT replication, and security considerations while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

You will work on system maintenance, monitoring, and incident resolution across SAP layers, ensuring availability and compliance with HA/DR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of SAP Basis administration experience.
• Strong SAP NetWeaver architecture knowledge.
• Hands-on SAP SLT configuration, monitoring, and replication support.
• Experience with ECC and/or S/4HANA landscapes.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PO/PI, Fiori, and NetWeaver platforms.
• Perform kernel upgrades, support package implementation, and system refreshes.
• Monitor SAP system health, performance, availability, and background processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Basis incidents and service requests.
• Manage client, printer, and user administration activities.
• Support HA, DR, and Business Continuity initiatives.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams during projects.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SAP SLT replication scenarios.
• Support replication performance tuning and issue resolution within SLT environments.
• Participate in audits and SAP security remediation efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in SAP landscape administration, system maintenance, performance monitoring, and technical support. The ideal candidate should possess strong SAP Basis fundamentals along with practical experience in SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT). The role will focus on ensuring the stability, availability, security, and performance of SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PO/PI, Fiori, and NetWeaver platforms.
• Perform SAP system maintenance activities including kernel upgrades, support package implementation, and system refreshes.
• Monitor SAP system health, performance, availability, and background processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Basis‑related incidents and service requests.
• Manage client administration, printer administration, and user administration activities.
• Support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity initiatives.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams during project implementations and operational support.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SAP SLT replication scenarios.
• Support replication performance tuning and issue resolution within SLT environments.
• Participate in audits, compliance activities, and SAP security remediation efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of SAP Basis administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture and SAP system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation) configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and replication support.
• Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA landscapes.
• Experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, Unicode conversions, and system copy/refresh activities.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Web Dispatcher, SAProuter, and SAP Gateway.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with SAP monitoring tools and incident management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP Basis and/or SAP HANA certification preferred.
• Exposure to cloud-hosted SAP environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or RISE with SAP).
• Experience with automation and scripting is an advantage.
