Job summary

Deltek is seeking a Salesforce Development Tech Lead/Team Lead to guide a global Salesforce engineering team from their Metro Manila area. You will mentor a mix of junior and mid-level engineers while staying hands-on with Apex, LWC, Flows, and integrations.

As a senior leader, you will drive SDLC improvements, enforce best practices, coordinate with a USA-based team, and support global customers with declarative-first solutions and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Salesforce.com development experience.
• Hands-on across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud.
• Proven people leadership and technical leadership in a Salesforce team.
• Hands-on Lightning development: Apex, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and LWC.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce SDLC and modern DevOps (Gearset or Copado; GitHub).
• Experience building integrations using REST/SOAP/Bulk/Streaming APIs; familiarity with Workato; common apps like Eloqua, Salesloft, DocuSign.
• Experience managing sandbox and production environments in multi‑tier releases.
• Proficient in writing test classes, triggers, batch classes, and future methods (Apex).
• Knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like JIRA & Confluence.
• Able to work ET hours to support US-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a Salesforce engineering team of admins and developers.
• Collaborate with a USA-based team and support global customers.
• Remain hands-on with Salesforce features across configuration and code (Apex, LWC).
• Guide declarative-first solutions and refactor to declarative where possible.
• Own SDLC improvements and DevOps workflows (Gearset/Copado, GitHub).
• Build integrations with external systems using APIs and ETL tools like Workato.
• Oversee code reviews, standards, and governance for scalable solutions.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and platform innovations.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support and assist with release coordination.
• Participate in daily Scrum and Agile ceremonies; manage technical debt and strategic planning.
