Job Summary
The Sales Training Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving sales training programs to enhance the performance of real estate sales professionals. This role ensures that all sales teams possess the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and represent the company’s brand effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Development
- Design and execute a comprehensive sales training strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Develop onboarding programs for newly hired sales consultants.
- Create and update training materials, playbooks, presentations, and e-learning content.
- Standardize sales processes, scripts, and best practices across all sales teams.
Sales Capability Development
Deliver training on:
- Real estate sales techniques
- Consultative selling
- Product knowledge
- Customer relationship management
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Objection handling
- Lead generation and prospecting
- Digital selling and social media engagement
- Conduct practical sales simulations.
- Coach Sales Managers on effective performance coaching techniques.
Product & Market Training
- Coordinate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure timely training on new project launches.
- Train teams on project features, pricing, financing options, competitor analysis, and market trends.
- Ensure sales teams remain updated on relevant real estate laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Performance Management
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to support organizational growth initiatives.
- Partner with HR on competency development and succession planning.
- Manage external trainers or learning vendors when necessary.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Training certifications (e.g., Train-the-Trainer, Learning & Development certifications) are an advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in sales training, coaching, or learning and development.
- Experience in the real estate industry is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience developing and delivering sales training programs.
- Experience coaching both individual contributors and sales managers.
