Job summary

BDO Unibank in the Philippines is seeking a customer-focused back-up Officer to support the Account Officer by handling inquiries from clients, dealers, salesmen, brokers and branch managers. You will assist in loan documentation and in launching promos and car sales caravans.

Responsibilities include documenting loan applications, processing accounts, monitoring status, following up missing requirements, relaying credit decisions, facilitating signing of documents, and maintaining records.

• Document and record loan applications received for the day.
• Process accounts for review and booking
• Monitor status of clients’ applications and requests for credit/background investigations, appraisal and relays status of application to clients
• Assist AO in following up lacking requirements needed for booking
• Ensure prompt relay of credit decisions to branch managers, clients, dealers, salesmen, brokers as well as pre/post booking requirements
• Facilitate signing of loan documents
• Accept payments (loan amortization) in the form of postdated checks, down payments, and CM fees in the form of check
• Relay deficiencies of loan documents for booking as well as forward such to CLG-LOS
• Maintenance of records and files of approved/disapproved/cancelled applications
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
