Job summary

924 Hellmann Shared Service Center Inc. is seeking a Customer Quotation Specialist to manage quotation requests from customers, translate requirements into internal guidelines, and coordinate with account managers, countries and product teams.

You will analyze requests, validate rates, benchmark pricing, ensure timely submissions, and maintain strong customer engagement while working with regional stakeholders and pricing teams across diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing customer quotations and RFQs from receipt to submission and follow-up.
• Ability to engage with customers and internal stakeholders at different levels.
• Extensive knowledge in international air and sea freight forwarding business.
• Strong time management to meet multiple deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with regional stakeholders and pricing teams across cultures.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet high workload periods.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate feedback and ensure completeness and correctness of country/product submissions.
• Review and benchmark pricing to ensure competitive submissions.
• Maintain customer engagement with fast turnaround and complete responses.
• Escalate issues that cannot be resolved on time.
• Translate internal pricing files to external customer files.
• Ensure timely, competitive and complete quotations.
• Monitor and follow up on quotation status with customers.
• Coordinate with branch operations after quotation award to start booking.
• Support quotation process, data quality, and compliance guidelines.
• Work with quotation-related software and keep updated.

customer quotation specialist is a crucial position to manage the quotation requests of Hellmann’s new and existing customers. Responsible to analyze the customer requirements, define the internal quotation and solution guidelines and to coordinate with internal stakeholders. The specialist works closely with the respective account manager, countries and product team members.

Key Tasks

• Analyze and understand quotation request from customer


• Validate quotation request with exiting customer contract rates


• Translate customer requirements into internal guidelines and coordinate pricing and solution with internal stakeholders


• Consolidate feedback and checking for completeness and correctness of country / product submissions to meet customer requirements


• Reviews and benchmark pricing received from the countries / product to ensure competitive submissions to the customer


• Focus in customer engagement, fast turnaround time and complete response to customer


• Escalate in case issues cannot be resolved on time


• Comprehensive translation from internal pricing file to external customer file


• Ensure timely, competitive and complete submission of customer quotation request


• Monitor and follow up on quotation status with customer


• Engage with respective branch operation after quotation award to start booking process


• Support agreed quotation process, data quality and compliance guidelines


• Work with and keep updated with quotation relevant software and tools

Skills and Competencies

• Experience in managing customer quotations and RFQ’s from receiving from customer till submission and follow-up


• Ability to active engage with customer and internal stakeholders at different levels


• Extensive knowledge in international air and sea freight forwarding business


• Good project management and time management skills to stay on top of multiple deadlines for multiple requests in parallel


• Good communication and interpersonal skills to properly engage with regional, country stakeholders and pricing teams of different cultural backgrounds.


• Strong analytical mind ideally paired with operational experience to analyze customer requirements and be able to quickly understand customer requirements and challenge countries / products for their input


• Ability to work under pressure to cope with periods of high workload and tight timelines


• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member


• Strong and enhanced user skills with Microsoft Excel (Pivot table, V/
