Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort is seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive to lead all commercial activities as a hands-on, player-coach who drives sales and revenue growth.
The role involves cultivating trade relationships, managing digital marketing platforms, negotiating contracts, and producing data-driven performance reports for management to guide occupancy and revenue strategy.
About the role
The Sales & Marketing Executive is the hands-on, strategic lead for all commercial activities at Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort. As a "working executive" and player-coach, this role goes beyond delegation. The Executive is responsible for personally driving sales and revenue growth by actively cultivating high-value trade relationships, hands-on managing of digital marketing platforms, negotiating contracts, and producing data-driven performance reports for management.
Key responsibilities
Develop comprehensive marketing plans and implement different marketing strategies and tactics to achieve occupancy and revenue targets. Forecast sales performance, conduct competitor analysis, and optimize daily rates.
Lead Sales and Marketing's comprehensive budget planning and revenue forecasting. Conduct regular expense and revenue reconciliations to ensure financial targets are met, costs are controlled, and ROI is maximized.
Personally conduct outside sales calls, site inspections, and face-to-face client meetings to aggressively close B2B contracts with inbound tour operators, travel agencies, and corporate retreat organizers.
Create and actively drive digital marketing strategies while taking a hands-on role in managing digital marketing platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and other relevant platforms), including overarching website upkeep and maintenance.
Conceptualize, launch, and personally monitor targeted online campaigns centered around eco-tourism milestones and vibrant Philippine festivals to maximize direct-to-consumer bookings.
Spearhead the team in coordinating, compiling documentation, and managing the end-to-end submission process for all local and international awards the resort participates in.
Serve as the corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability champion, creating and executing year-round programs and activities. Conceptualize and budget on-property seasonal guest activities to enhance the guest experience.
Represent the management in industry events, local tourism organizations, and associations. Actively scout and recommend strategic collaborations (e.g., lifestyle brands, content creators, influencers) to the General Manager, represent the resort at major travel fairs, and host media familiarization (fam) tours.
Personally review all online guest reviews (e.g., TripAdvisor, Google, OTAs) to maintain brand standards, ensure appropriate responses, and extract actionable operational insights.
Produce comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports for the General Manager, detailing campaign ROI, direct vs. OTA booking conversions, B2B sales pipeline progress, and digital reach metrics.
Directly manage the end-to-end sales cycle for top-tier accounts, negotiating contracts, group rates, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Negotiate rates and contracts with external marketing suppliers (e.g., freelance photographers, videographers, agencies).
Define the strategic direction and promotional pricing for Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). Coordinate directly with the Guest Services Accounts Specialist for daily channel execution and extranet maintenance.
Actively collaborate with other teams (Operations, F&B, Guest Services) to develop new resort products, services, and marketable packages. Ensure seamless real-time execution of these offerings, alongside VIP arrivals and special events.
