Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Gymdesk is hiring a Sales Development Representative focused on the Australia and New Zealand markets. This is a 100% remote, full-time contractor role aimed at building inbound interest into gyms, running outbound sequences, and booking qualified meetings for the AE team.
You will prospect gym owners, navigate front-desk conversations, and maintain HubSpot records while hitting monthly lead targets. Strong English, 2+ years in outbound sales, and CRM discipline are essential.
Schedule: Philippines business hours, Monday through Friday. Early start (roughly 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PHT) preferred for New Zealand and Australia overlap.
Gymdesk is modern gym management software built for gym owners who want to run and grow their business. We serve thousands of martial arts academies, boutique fitness studios, and multi-location gyms worldwide with CRM, billing, scheduling, payments, and member management in one platform. We already get steady inbound interest from Australia and New Zealand, and both markets are dense with martial arts academies and boutique gyms. This role exists to go get that market on purpose instead of waiting for it to find us. And we are looking for the right person to be part of that from day one.
We are hiring our first Sales Development Representative (SDR) focused on the Australia and New Zealand markets. You will prospect, contact, and qualify gym owners across the region, then book meetings for our Account Executive team. This is a phone-forward role, but it is not a pure cold dialing seat. Gym owners in Australia and New Zealand are wary of unknown international numbers, so you will run a sequenced approach: a warm-up email or message first, then the call, then persistent and polite follow-up. You will often reach a front desk staff member before you reach the owner, and getting past that conversation with credibility is a core skill in this job. You are measured on qualified pipeline, not activity for its own sake, and we will make sure you have what you need to succeed.
HubSpot CRM, Aircall or a similar cloud dialer, Slack, Google Workspace, and AI tools for research and pre-call prep.
You would be the first SDR we are putting into Australia and New Zealand, and how you work will shape how we sell there. This is not a seat on an established team running a proven playbook, it is a real seat at the table. If this market opens up, the team grows around you, and you are first in line to lead it. It's also 100% remote, so you get all of that without a commute or relocation. You will be part of a small, close-knit team where your numbers are known and your wins are celebrated, not lost in a big org chart. Your read on objections, messaging, and what actually works in your market will shape the playbook for the whole region. If you think you'd be a good fit, we would love to hear from you.
