Cocogen Insurance, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate at our Cebu branch to drive branch growth through marketing, sales, customer service, policy issuance, collections, and claims processing.

You will identify markets, promote products online and offline, renew policies, prepare reports, and assist in underwriting and documentation under established guidelines. The role emphasizes relationship building with partners, accurate quotations, and timely handling of renewals and receivables, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Proficient in modern office procedures, methods, and computer equipment including spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.
• Experience in the same position and/or in Non-Life insurance is an advantage.
• Above-average verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, pursues, and develops potential markets, partners, and channels of distribution.
• Promotes products via trade, brick-and-mortar, and online channels.
• Performs renewal review and administration.
• Prepares reports such as Renewal Persistency and Monthly Production.
• Analyzes, evaluates and accepts risks based on Underwriting Guidelines and authority limits.
• Prepares quotations, proposals and documentation requests for accounts.
• Signs endorsements within authorized limit.
• Monitors status of outstanding quotations and provides feedback to Branch Head.
• Maintains direct premium receivables within agreed terms and conditions.
• Assists in policy issuance and claims processing when needed.

Job Description:

The Sales Associate is responsible for the performance of tasks that contribute to the Branch’s growth and profitability, particularly (but not limited to) marketing, sales, customer service, policy issuance, collection, and claims processing.

• Identifies, pursues, and develops potential markets, partners, and channels of distribution.

• Helps on policy issuance and claims processing when the need arises.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.

• Must be literate in Modern office procedures, methods, and computer equipment and related spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications.

• Experience in the same position and/or in Non-Life Insurance is an advantage.

• With above-average verbal and written communication skills
