• Solicit housing loan accounts and market housing loan promos.
• Attend sales channel events and promote housing loan products.
• Handle housing loan inquiries from assigned sales channel and clients.
• Initiate contact and follow up with potential clients.
• Receive and pre-screen housing loan applications; check documents.
• Encode applications in the front-end system for credit processing.
• Forward applications to Credit for evaluation.
• Coordinate processing with Credit, Field Support, and other units.
• Regularly update partners on loan status.
• Ensure loan documents comply with Bank's standard procedures.
• Ensure timely processing of all housing loan applications.
• Monitor documentary deficiencies and address gaps.

Job description

The Sales Associate position is responsible to assist the Account Officer in the performance of his duties and responsibilities to achieve goals as directed by the management.

Main Accountabilities

• Sales and Marketing – Supports the Account Officer in achieving sales volume through account solicitation and marketing of housing loan products and promos


• Attends sales channel events and promotes housing loan products


• Attends to housing loan inquiries of assigned sales channel and clients.


• Initiates contact and follow-up with potential clients


• Receives and pre-screens housing loan applications referred by various sales channel, checks completeness of documentary requirements and identifies appropriate Housing Loan facility / package.


• Encodes application in the front-end system for credit processing and monitoring.


• Forwards housing loan applications to credit for evaluation.


• Coordinates processing of housing loan application with involved internal units such as Credit, Field Support, Loan Service & Recovery, Retail Custodian Unit, etc.


• Regularly updates partner channel and loan applicants on the status of their housing loan application.


• Ensures that loan documentation is in accordance with the standard documents and procedures set by the Bank


• Ensures that all housing loan applications are processed in a timely manner.


• Ensures proper referrer tagging of housing loan applications and timely pay-out of referrer’s incentives


• Monitors and regularizes documentary deficiencies

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year course (business-related)


• Basic knowledge of banking and the loans is a plus


• Basic computer applications (word processing / spreadsheets / etc.),


• Proficiency in computer application (MS Office)


• Good communication skills (Oral/Written)
